I think that its a very plausible thing for one voice to move a room, or however you put it. Think about it. Oprah. Yeah yeah yeah, I'm obsessed. But really, why do you think it was that when she endorsed Barack Obama, people were so upset about it? Because they know the kind of power her one voice has. Ok, so, none of us have that kind of clout. (Or money, but whatever.) So, bring it back to the small scale. I'll even put it into University terms. When we're being forced to do the obligatory yet horrendous team building activities at the beginning of the year, there is always a leader designated at the beginning of the...activity. Now, if things go as they should, or if you are a part of any activity that is not involved with the junior class (three cheers for anarchy!!), this person should be able to, sometimes literally, move the rest of the room with their voice. And really, if anyone actually needs an example of this, or perhaps of people abusing their voice...open up your firstclass and find the latest chain e-mail.
