Today I actually...*gasp*...did some work regarding this paper. I spent some time looking around online to find what I could in the way of general information regarding my topic. What I found interesting was that, according to Sports Illustrated, the highest paid American professional athlete is ... Tiger Woods? I mean, I knew that he makes bank, but I just assumed that the number one would be a more mainstream sport, such as basketball or football. More power to him though, I mean, out of all sports to play as a career, golf has got to be the best choice. Actuallly, the first 2 on the list were golfers, followed by LeBron James (basketball), Floyd Mayweather Jr. (boxing), and Kobe Bryant (basketball) to round out the top 5. So if these are the best paid athletes in America...how much are they making? Tiger made $127,902,706 last year ALONE. Let that sink in. Let that marinate.

Wow. I think I'm going to take up golf. It's a little ridiculous that Tiger Woods makes that much in a year. Actually, it's ridiculous that ANYONE makes that much in a year. What's you stance on this? That they shouldn't make that much? When I was little, I thought that teachers and policemen were rich because, since they had such a hard job, they were paid a lot.

Anyway, what is you stance on this Aly? *giggle, giggle, sarcasm* Your topic is kind of similar to mine. You know, in that whole... money... aspect. I think Mr. Woods gets most of his money through endorsements, ads, sponsorships, and his video games. So although he is being paid a shitload of cayshe, it's coming from a number of people, and not just one party.
