Three minutes...filled up with me speaking...words...in an academic setting. I don't think I say three minutes worth in all my classes combined in a semester. So, this is going to be...awesome.
But anyways, my plan is to speak about Lord's Pantry. I figure this is my best shot at not blowing it, since I go there on a fairly normal basis. There's plenty of heart-wrenching stories that I could tell to appeal to pathos. However, since the rest is going to be suck-tastic, I'm not sure it will be enough.
The rubric says that I need to think about what I need to do in order to win over my classmates. Well, here goes my list: I have to be intellectual enough to win J.P.'s approval, cynical enough to get Daniel and Elise on my side, smile enough to get Marta with me, threaten Maggie, make a joke for LaMags, throw in an inside LP joke for Henry, and probably throw out free candy to the rest.
