Well, I have done it. I have decided on a topic for my paper. I am going to write about the payment of professional atheletes. This is something I have always been annoyed with, the fact that a man dribbling a ball or swinging a bat (usually along with some felony charges) earns substantially more than the President of the United States. I think that looking at this from a standpoint of the impact this system has on society will be interesting. These atheletes are the heroes of the children in America, and most of them don't deserve that title. How many times do we open up the newspaper and read about a well-known athelete shooting someone outside a night club? Too often. This is part of what I'm planning on exploring in my paper.

I love your topic. That's all their is to it. I've actually brought that up talking with my family several times, and it usually gets dismissed after a few minutes. I think it's pretty awesome that you see athletes' paychecks as a problem because I completely agree with you. The example of the President is only one of many ridiculous others.
