A pseudo-what?? Does that even exist? Leave it to the text book to name things in hyphenated phrases beginning with the word pseudo, ending with the word argument. (And no, the dictionary does not have the phrase either, so don't get smart.)

Anyways, the book defines a pseudo-argument as a person who fanatically commits to their own position, and will not let go of any ground. The best example of a pseudo-argument that I can think of would be...terrorists. I'd like to take this chance to say hey to the government agents spying on my blog now that I've thrown that word in here twice in the past week.

Terrorists are people who believe in the extreme of their religion, and take it to their grave. Rather than agree to disagree with the U.S., their pseudo -argument...ness...causes them to decide to blow some stuff up. I guess we should all be thankful that most people are in fact, non-pseudo-argumentative.

This is a really good example. I don't think many people in our class would think of a terrorist as someone who is pseudo-argumentative, but it fits the definition perfectly. I definitely agree with it, good job on thinking outside the box.
